Here I thought all the leaves had fallen from the trees!
Dang it, Roy. AGAIN? Stop hanging out in the back alley. Well, don’t stop – but maybe put on a suit or something? (Had to fish you out of the moat again. This is not cool, and I don’t know how to fix it. You’re even whitelisted!)
MOST of the leaves have fallen, probably due to the weight of all the rain. But this is Houston. They’ll cling desperately till they’re pushed out by the new buds of the first fake spring. That poor tree never fails to bloom TWICE a year. Always falls for it.
How exciting for you AND your illustrator! Congrats on the book and the nominations!
Thank you! Indeed it is exciting!
How awesome to be nominated! I went in and voted in each of the three categories. Good luck!
Thank you so much, Jessica!
Are you sure those hoops aren’t flaming? Because they seem pretty hard! Heading over now! Congrats!
They just seem that way, but I deeply appreciate the effort of readers and friends willing to go to the effort. I know it’s to prevent fraud, and that’s always a GOOD thing – but it could certainly be clearer/easier. At least I provided some fair warning! 😀
Congratulations to you and your illustrator! I really like the cover illustration of your book.
Isn’t it great! Perfect for the story, all of them. And she’s a joy to work with.
What a cute little story for kids and parents dealing with a common, but possibly frustrating stage that many children go through! Congrats to you and your illustrator. I voted in all 3 categories. Good luck!
Thank you, Tisha!
Can I vote?
I believe so – I don’t think there are any geographic restrictions! (I know one person bought the book on Amazon.in and voted yesterday, so I’m pretty sure – yes!)
Hi Jahangiri, hope to have that book. As I look at the books cover, it really reminds me of my childhood.
Probably because Carrie and I haven’t forgotten our own! I hope that you enjoy it, edward.
I will surely enjoy it :).
I will surely enjoy this Jahangiri 🙂
Congratulations on all your awards – fantastic! And also on having your book published!
Thank you, Rachel!
