Over at last! I breathe a sigh. This last ditch acrostic,
Poetic “cheat” or penance? Tradition!
Query Google, “A to Z” – a “blogging challenge” –
Rally the troops: the blog; ten fingers stiff as
Soldiers, gamely marching on the keyboard –
Terpsichorean tapping, tintinnabulating touch;
Unsung heroes of the post, expressing freely, A to Z.
Victory within our grasp! Just a quick nap, now.
Wait, where did the time fly? The world’s tiniest
Xylophone plays “Hearts and Flowers,”
You knew it all along, didn’t you? Go on, laugh.

  1. The A to Z Challenge is an overwhelming commitment and every time it’s over, I say ‘not again’. Come January, the enthusiasm usually returns. This year, internet fatigue set in early. 😛 At least you gave it a shot! Good try. As they say in sports: ‘There’s always next year.’ Or, not! 🙂

  2. LOL – so much for the a-z blogging challenge. Certainly not an easy thing to do.

      1. Certainly. I think it is better to focus just on blogging. Though some of these challenges can be health sometimes.
