I was finally able to read Bob’s “Little Mountain” after downloading a free copy. Florida is in high season right now so I’m busy. Imagine coming home after 11:00pm all jacked up yet tired without a virgin (to me) book to read and contemplating pulling something off the shelf for the third time just to wind down.
I remembered Bob’s free download and fired up an RDP connection on a NetBook to the local machine where I installed the Kindle app so I could lay in my fav chair.
Bob wrote a great tale framed in the tasty backdrop of a Cambodian American community. The story is paced well and he has that easy “Ludlum” knack for developing characters and story tension at the same time. Smooth and exciting!
I’m so grateful to Holly and Bob for the freebie! I’ll be breaking out the plastic and ordering more, Bob is a fun writer; he seems to have a love for the craft.
