Monday News & Views
by Holly Jahangiri on Dec 14th, 2009
What festive mess is this? Clearly, I'm not cut out to keep fish alive. Irma, who excels at keeping guppies, is deeply ashamed of me for letting my pretend fish go belly up - not once, not twice, but every danged time, in Fishville. (I'm not giving it a link. That would make me an enabler. Six hundred million people already have Farmville bookmarked; they don't need help selling their electronic crack from me!) Irma has made me swear not to try ...Read More » Tags

My Publisher has a Perverse Sense of Humor
by Holly Jahangiri on Sep 10th, 2009
In the wee hours of the morning, Vivian Zabel, president of 4RV Publishing and author of the blog, Brain Cells and Bubble Wrap, bestowed upon me this ?Kreativ Blogger Award.? Sounds sweet, doesn?t it? But she knows that (a) the spelling of ?Kreativ? is going to drive me as batty as a lab rat on crack; and (b) I can?t come up with another ?Seven Stupid Things About Me that You Don?t Already Know?; and (c) despite my inclination to edit the name of...Read More » Tags
