Over at last! I breathe a sigh. This last ditch acrostic,
Poetic “cheat” or penance? Tradition!
Query Google, “A to Z” – a “blogging challenge” –
Rally the troops: the blog; ten fingers stiff as
Soldiers, gamely marching on the keyboard –
Terpsichorean tapping, tintinnabulating touch;
Unsung heroes of the post, expressing freely, A to Z.
Victory within our grasp! Just a quick nap, now.
Wait, where did the time fly? The world’s tiniest
Xylophone plays “Hearts and Flowers,”
You knew it all along, didn’t you? Go on, laugh.
Zzzzzzzz…

You do get an “A” for effort, Holly. I’ll have to try this next year if I do A to Z again.

🙂 Thanks, Alana!
The A to Z Challenge is an overwhelming commitment and every time it’s over, I say ‘not again’. Come January, the enthusiasm usually returns. This year, internet fatigue set in early. 😛 At least you gave it a shot! Good try. As they say in sports: ‘There’s always next year.’ Or, not! 🙂

Yes! It’s not like anyone’s going to beat you up for not writing 26 posts. 🙂
LOL – so much for the a-z blogging challenge. Certainly not an easy thing to do.
No, not easy at all! I think maybe I should just blog, and stop signing up for these “challenges.” I’d probably blog MORE. Something in me rebels, sometimes.

Certainly. I think it is better to focus just on blogging. Though some of these challenges can be health sometimes.
Exactly why I don’t stress over missing a day or 20. 🙂 The point of a challenge is to serve both bloggers and readers, and when it seems to fail one or the other, it’s not worth it.
