The following are links to search terms for (state OR two-character state code) AND “party name platform”. These queries should pull up the official state party website as well as references to news articles, blogs, or commentary on the state’s Republican or Democratic Party platform, if one is available. Not all are updated to reflect the Party’s beliefs and objectives as of 2022, but they may be updated prior to this fall’s elections.

It is my hope that you will read your Party’s platform, both state and national. I think it’s incumbent upon all of us to understand the aims of our political Parties and the proven track records of the candidates running for local, state, and national office before casting our votes for them. In conversations over the last 12 years, it has become clear to me that the vast majority of voters have absolutely no idea what beliefs and goals are so clearly spelled out in these documents, yet they are familiar with the propaganda, unfounded conspiracy theories, and outright lies spread by campaigns, foreign actors, special interest groups, and people who don’t know facts from fantasy.

These documents are short and to the point. They are easy to read. PLEASE, PLEASE READ.

REPUBLICAN PARTY PLATFORMS

No new National GOP platform was adopted in 2020. Instead, they expressed their continued support of former President Donald Trump and his administration, and refused to entertain any motions for amendments to their 2016 platform. See PDF File (gop.com)
