To be really free is to decide to be.
A little tour of “my writing space.”
I like knowing I’m writing for more than 5 people… 🙂
A form of writer’s block is reluctance to dig deep and face essential, emotional truths. Form (as in poetry) can provide a scaffold for the words, but can be used as an excuse to avoid deeper truths if we’re not careful.

“The abecedarian is an ancient poetic form guided by alphabetical order. Generally each line or stanza begins with the first letter of the alphabet and is followed by the successive letter, until the final letter is reached.” (From https://poets.org/glossary/abecedarian)
It’s no secret that I’m historically bad at growing plants. I joke that I have a black thumb – so much so, that I have been known to kill silk plants. I used to have good luck with pothos, arrowhead, purple zebrina, spider plants, and asparagus fern – let’s face it, those are hard to kill.
I do appreciate friends who keep me honest on those rare occasions when I post utter rubbish on Facebook. It happens to us all, sometimes, assuming we’re breathing. This wasn’t one of those times.
I was invited – tagged by Ming Qian of Ming Writes to travel back in time and share some blogging memories. Who here is up for a game of #BloggingNostalgiaTag? You? Great! You’re IT!
Just four more days to keep last year’s resolution.
